Licensing

Developer productivity. Source ownership. Perpetual use.

Safire's published Version 1 purchase path is based on a perpetual license for the Safire software version purchased, while keeping a clear boundary between the professional development environment and deployed applications.

IDE

Licensed SafireIDE

The professional productivity surface: visual design, source, data tools, project targets, diagnostics, testing, Vault integration and controlled AI assistance.

SRC

Your application source

Readable Safire source and project metadata remain developer-owned. The IDE must not become the only place where the application truth exists.

RT

Deployable applications

End users run the application and required runtime components — not the professional development environment.

Boundary

A commercial IDE without a source lock-in.

AreaSafireIDE / development environmentRuntime / source path
Visual designProfessional RAD productivity surfaceSource remains readable, reviewable and buildable
AI workflowContext, proposals, diffs, apply controls and auditAI remains optional; source changes remain reviewable
Build & packageIntegrated build, package, diagnostics and release toolingCommand-line and reproducible build paths remain important
DeploymentDeveloper tooling prepares the applicationEnd users run the deployed application/runtime, not the IDE
SupportDiagnostics, tests and support bundlesRuntime logs and application artefacts support field diagnosis
Perpetual Version 1 path

The purchased software version does not become a forced subscription.

The current pricing page defines Alpha, Beta and Commercial V1 as purchase windows into the same Safire product line. A perpetual license means the purchased software version can continue to be used under the published license terms.

Commercial detail: final license text, runtime redistribution clauses, support terms and future major-version upgrade pricing should be read from the applicable published agreement when released. Public preview terms may still change before commercial launch.
