Three purchase windows. One Safire development environment.

Each purchase path buys the same kind of perpetual license for the Safire software version you purchase. The difference is when you enter the pre-alpha, beta and commercial Version 1 release path.

Perpetual license

Safire with all the bells and whistles.

Safire is being positioned as a complete business application development environment, not a runtime subscription. The license covers the purchased software version, including the development environment and its core product capabilities.

Alpha Access, Beta Access and Version 1 Access help fund the initial development process and help ensure that Safire Version 1 reaches market as soon as possible. Each purchase window still buys the same Safire product line: a perpetual license for the software version purchased.

Included product capability

  • SafireIDE development environment.
  • Readable Safire language and source-first project truth.
  • Source Vault recovery and checkpoint workflow.
  • Windows/forms/controls, reports, dictionaries and database system direction.
  • Compiler, VM/runtime, build, run, package and diagnostics path.
  • Controlled AI Assistant Pad proposals, diffs and audit workflow.

What perpetual means here

A perpetual license means you may keep using the Safire software version you purchased under the published license terms. It is not presented as a forced subscription to keep that purchased version running.

Alpha and beta access are earlier purchase windows into the same Version 1 product path, not different crippled editions. They are also part of the funding path that supports initial product development and accelerates the journey toward the first commercial Version 1 release.

Safire is pre-alpha. Early buyers help shape the final Version 1 product.

Release dates are current planning targets: Alpha around 20-25 July 2026, Beta around 18 September 2026, and Version 1 around 30 November 2026.
